Donation with a Matching Gift from your Employer
Your donation could be doubled or even tripled if your employer is a company that participates in
gift matching. Ask at the human resources department of your employer for the form which must

3- OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS

The Annual Campaign
You, our donors, are the sole source of revenue for Entraide Française. Therefore we are very grateful
to you for responding to our annual appeal, allowing us to come to the aid of ever more French people
in need. Our organization operates at minimal cost: Once a year we send out a mailing to our
previous year’s donors. This year we are expanding our mailing list to include the entire French
speaking community in New York, with the hopes of developing new donors.

Occasional Campaigns
A variety of specific fundraising campaigns will be launched over the course of each year to benefit
specific initiatives. We intend these events to be targeted to a particular need such as covering
the costs of summer camp for some of the children we already know well who have not yet had the
chance to “go on vacation”.

Information on these occasional campaigns will usually be communicated to you via email and
through our website. Please keep in touch!

We appreciate your involvement in the French community in New York.

4- OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP US

A few examples of donations of goods and services:

- “The market clipper” offered us special rates on chocolate, tea, jam, soups and other delicacies
which went into our holiday packages.

- L’Occitane offered us its new “Tapenade” products to accompany these packages.

- Big Apple Circus gave away tickets to the children and elderly persons we assist.

- Accueil New York and its Christmas Market (“Marché de Noël”) redistribute 10% of their exhibitors’
sales to us.

- Mr. Jean-Paul Picot, owner of the restaurant “La Bonne Soupe” invites ambulatory elderly people, members of the Golden Age (“l’Age d’Or”) of the association Accueil New York, to his restaurant at
tea time several times a year.

- During our various campaigns, we are always looking for volunteers to provide support to our main
team, from preparing holiday packages to offering personal advice; all good will is welcome and needed.

Here and there, some simple ways you can help:

- Eliminate small expenditures here and there such as unnecessary taxi rides or that fourth cup of
coffee of the day, and donate the amount you save to Entraide Française.

- A little goes a long way: Small change put aside because it weighs down your pockets can help
make the difference at the end of the year for some of us. Save it for them!
